The Gridline Dress

A graphic black-and-cream dress created entirely from a repurposed bedsheet. The bold, irregular grid print gives the fabric a modern, almost hand-drawn quality, while the V-neckline, softly puffed sleeves, fitted bodice and gathered skirt bring a feminine, vintage-inspired shape. The change in direction of the print through the skirt adds movement and makes the transformation especially striking.
