Care
The most sustainable thing we can do is to make intentional purchases, and care for those purchases thoughtfully.
HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR....
QUILT COAT AND VESTS
Please note that vintage & antique pieces carry signs of previous wear. It is these imperfections which, in my opinion, hold much of the beauty of vintage fashion as they have been loved before.
Our up-cycled quilt coats and vests are made from primarily vintage, pre-loved fabrics that have stood the test of time - but while they're beautifully durable, they're not indestructible and should be handled with care to preserve their story and strength..
- Machine wash in cold water on the delicate cycle with a mild detergent
- Tumble dry low until damp and then lay flat to finish drying OR lay flat to dry
- Use a hot iron to press out any creases or wrinkles, focusing on the collar and the pockets. Fabric will soften with age and use.
- Do not bleach
